Season of Love

Late post, we had a great Valentines day! The hubby came home with chocolates and beautiful flowers. We went out to eat at our favorite restaurant, Buca Di Beppo! It was a really long wait, but totally worth it. The next day he surprised me and took me to the San Francisco Zoo, which was super fun. It was an amazing day and I'll love that guy forever!:)

It's the year of the horse and we're celebrating at Yahoo! Tons of Chinese food and tons of Chinese people. The best part was the dragon. Kung Hei Fat Choy!

Vegas Baby!!!

So one of my New Years Resolutions was to keep this blog updated more often, so far I am failing....
Anyways, since the new year has begun we went on a trip to Las Vegas! My first time, it was specifically for the rugby tournament. We rooted for Fiji, who ended up not winning. I got to see a little of Vegas, we went club crawling with the cousins which was super fun and saw some of the sites on the strip. We spent our nights at Aunty Kristies house and I even got to try the slot machine once. Can't wait to go back!

Christmas in California wasn't the ideal place to spend the holidays, especially far from my family. Nonetheless, we had a great time with the Naidu clan in Sacramento. Ate too much, played a lot of fun games, and stayed up really late. I got everything I wanted for Christmas.

We recently came back from a trip to Maui! We were lucky that the hubby and his work team got rewarded with a free vacation. It was for a week in paradise. We stayed at one of the most amazing hotels in Wailea called the Andaz. All expenses paid, it was definitely celeb status. Got to see family, get a tan, eat onolicious food and relax. It was very hard to leave that beautiful island and back to the cold.

Short note: Last weekend me and the hubby made a quick road trip to Utah for my really good friend's wedding. We left right after work on Friday, spent the night in Nevada and made it just in time for the reception on Saturday! Luckily we were able to stay at my sister's new home in Provo. The reception was very nice and we had a lot of fun. After the reception we got to spend a little time with the Gorhams, we tried to go to a haunted house for some pre-halloween fun, but Avalika was too scared and the lines were too long. So we ended up picking up some snacks for a late night scary movie.

Happy Halloween!

This year for Halloween my job allowed us to dress down for work, but not dress up in costumes. So my co-workers all agreed that we'd wear super hero t-shirts! Me and the hubby didn't plan to wear a costume, so I just bought him a Superman shirt in since I had already got a Batman one for work. I was a super slow night, we had ONE trick-o-treater, a really cute little Darth Vader that lived across from our door. We ended the night with a movie, Monsters University and a lot of leftover candy. Next year we'll hopefully plan a better one.
